I'm having a great time in Hermosillo, Mexico. Contrary to the stereotypical images Hollywood has fed me for years, I am yet to see a truck spilling with sombrero wearing, pitchfork wielding workers, or a flea-bitten dog plodding down the street, half full of life. I still have a few more days here though. ;-)
Instead, every day I am treated to amazing history and culture, along with the people around me. Every night I fall asleep to the wafting of laughter and musica of a fiesta somewhere in the neighbourhood, as well as the odd dog howling at the moon. Oh, and as well, for those of you who know my love of food, I'm in complete food heaven, as you'll notice from the blissed-out expression on my face in this photo.
The good times continue tomorrow as we take a day trip to San Carlos for snorkelling and sangria.
